Founder surgical.ai and caresyntax 

Hailing from a family of industrialists and medical thought leaders, Bjoern possesses a native drive and understanding for applying new technologies to solve challenges in healthcare. In 2010, he co-founded surgical.ai and caresyntax, which grew to a leading AI, robotics and IoT platform with over 6000 active systems reducing risks of 10 million surgical interventions p.a. across US, European and Asian geographies. Prior to founding caresyntax and surgical.ai, Bjoern was active as a founder and investor for healthcare and technology ventures. Bjoern completed several years of postgraduate research on technology ventures at the University of St. Gallen as well as at Harvard University and Harvard Business School. Bjoern earned his M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and B.Sc. from European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, where he graduated in the top 3% and 10% of his class respectively.
