Hamizah Shahroom

Research Engineer

Hamizah Shahroom received her Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and Master of Engineering (Electrical) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai. She has an experience in doing her master research in the atmospheric electric field with a thesis entitled “Improvement on System and Components of a Rotating Electric Field Mill for Atmospheric Electric Field Measurement” and also doing her research in high pulse generator using a microcontroller in final year project. She received a Bronze Award on 14th Industrial Art and Technology Exhibition, INATEX (2012) with the invention of Wireless Atmospheric Electric Field Sensor Network Online Monitoring System and Silver Award on 24th International Invention, Innovation, & Technology Exhibition, ITEX (2013) with invention of Rotating Electric Field Mill (REFM) Sensor Network during her studies. Her research works have been published in several conferences and Journals including IEEE, Telkomnika, Jurnal Teknologi (Sciences and Engineering), and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews.
